    The very best.
He ripped it on jan 6th. Had surgery....jan 15? So it's been about 4.5 months so far's.

By October 15th, it will be 8 full months for his rehab. Do you think he'll be dunking over Darren Kent by then?

And please refrain from your personal stories of your 16 year old daughter shredding her acl, and in 5 months back to playing the rigors of KS girls high school basketball.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I think we have to use his past injury to determine how he'll recover from this one.  Last time was 5 months.  For his sake I hope he takes his time to let the redone ligament completely strengthen.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I know, but that may have just been Billy (our friend) doing the following

True but I have to think his loins are genetically superior to most other people's loins.

Well, I suspect that Popcorn could dunk over Darren Kent right now, but that is more of an indictment of Kent.  The doctor's and the public toss around he'll be ready to play, and he'll be 100%.  He will be ready by the season to play, I would certainly think.  However, we are basically talking about how long it takes an individual to heal and each person is different.  Now, when will he get all of his explosiveness back (if he gets it all back) is a different story.  It seems like it takes between 1-2 yrs for the explosiveness to come back to whatever degree it will return.  Popcorn should be back to NBA high athleticism level within that time frame...now whether he will ever be back to pre-injury Popcorn level, that is doubtful.  But, even reduced slightly, he is still more athletic than all but a few NBA players.

    Sniff Sniff. . . I smell Heisman.
He should be about ready to start practicing now, he said at the Nut Fry in SC that it would be 2 weeks before he would play and it has been about 2 weeks.
csourk is the best pre-college poster on this board.  way better than oxlp956
