plays that left you speechless

1)sirr parker
2)savage breaks three tackles for a 74 yard TD. OU leads 38-14 in Manhattan, KSU had not lost in Manhattan in 25 games
3)The one handed catch by the ku guy in 2004. That play really signaled that this wasn't the same kstate football anymore
4)Pass interference on Dunnigan @ CU in 2002. ended the game and our big 12 hopes
5)Nu field goal to clinch 2005. Guarenteed 2 straight bowl less seasons. 1-6 in big 12 play.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Davin Dennis dropping the potential game-tying catch vs. Marshall.

I'm happy I didn't witness it with my eyes.  Horrible though, ended our bowl chances.

I guess the Dennis drop wasn't that big of a kick in the balls NTILAI, IIRC, we were lucky to even have a chance to tie it.

What about Brite getting his field goal blocked?

BTW, #2 on your list sticks out to me the most, other than Sirr Parker.  Right when that happened, it was like "damn...there really is no way to stop them".

at least for me it was in 2005 against colorado at home. moreira fields a punt with less than 2 minutes left in the tied game. moreira fumbles it and gets decapitated. moreira lays motionless for 30 minutes. after this 30 minute wait, colorado eats some time up and mason crosby hits a field goal to win it. i then leave the absolute silent stadium pissed off because that put us out of bowl contention and i decided to go to that game on crutches.  :banghead:

God was that 2004 Colorado game terrible. All the wildcats getting injured throughout the game, and then the 14 point comeback in the 4th quarter than losing in the final 5 seconds on a hail mary while that destroys our bowl game hopes and than even Big 12 North champs hopes.*

*-If we would've beaten CU and than came home on senior day and beaten ISU than we would've gone to Big 12 championship in KC for another upset bid on OU.

The end of the 2004 football season basically caused another no bowl game in 2005 & the lack of recruiting and not even getting the recruits on campus during the last couple of years.

Colorado long pass for TD to go ahead of the Cats in 1995.  Cats had just had a tremedously gutty drive to take the lead in the last 5 minutes.  CU scored in a couple of plays, the TD coming on a long pass over the top.  Cats followed that up by snapping the ball into the endzone which CU pounced on for another score.  Buffs 27 - Cats 17.

The 04 CU game was horrid.  Ruined the most gutty performance by D-Meier.

The only reason I bring up the NU fake Field goal last year, is because it actually felt like I was punched in the stomache.  I was really optimistic going into that game, and that one play took the wind out of everyone in purple.

It wasn't just that Crosby hit it. Barnett had so much faith in him, he ordered Klatt to take the snap and fall down for the first two plays of the series, backing CU up seven yards.

100) Ell Roberson fumbling @ Texas in 03 to allow Texas to comeback and win
101a) the joe klatt pass in the final seconds to beat us in 04
101b) the jermaine moreira punt muff that resulted in him looking like he died and CU getting the ball within field goal range when KSU was poised with momentum on their side to go score in 05
102) The  05 nebraska field goal/penalty beforehand that put them in position to make the field goal that lead to the eventual decision of Snyder to retire.

Jesse Tetuan getting stiff-armed to the ground on a long touchdown run by John Randle to seal the ku win in 2004 and the "punt" at Oklahoma in 2005 where Tim Reyer forgot to go onto the field.  :banghead:

Sirr Parker is #1 by far.

Probably nowhere near the top 5 - 10, but the punt that was snapped out the back of the endzone when Reyer forgot to go onto the field.  It was the realization that came afterwards -- "Good Lord....we've really fallen that far"

someone absolutely whiffed on a block in that play, can't remember who.

was at that one...believe kordell stewart and ray carruth contributed to that play by cu...i remember everyone throwing cotton around cause we thought we had it locked up after that drive.

No certain order.

JJ Smith clearly crossing the goal line at CU in 1994 and it wasn't called a TD, the next play got stuffed.  But JJ was in the endzone by at least an F'in yard.   KSU ended up losing by 2 TD's but CU scored one on the last play of the game.

Kirby Hocutt getting a personal foul out of F'ing bounds in 1993 at NU that kept an NU drive alive. Also when KSU was at NU's 1 yard line and tried a QB throwback pass that got intercepted.  Killers, absolute kicks in the nuts, and KSU's offense was kicking NU's defense up and down the field all day, but those two plays were the difference in the game.

I think Jared Cooper got called for a bs pass int. call on the ou tight end.  don't remember the exact scenario, but I do think it was a 3rd down play, extended a drive or may have been a td.

I have a good one.  Remember I think it was 2002 when we were playing aTm here.  We had like 3 fumbles and spotted them 21 points.  We made a furious comeback, and then with I think 5 seconds left we were on about the 3 yard line and we tried an option.  I can't remember who the RB was, I just remember that he came up about 6 inches short and then the time ran out.  I'm not sure I have all the details right, but I know I felt like crap after that play.
