    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Good work fatty, that was THE most fun day of my college experience.  I love that you included Keith Jackson's line "Good Night from the Happiest Place on Earth"  Effin Awesome.   :dancin: :ksu:

P.S.  I had never really given much thought to it, but Greg Sharpe was alot better football play-by-play guy than that guy we have now.

There's not much worse than having to puke all morning following a sour Rusty burger the night before.  Thankfully the game was at night.

What was I thinking?

I laughed on that day, as soon as I realized no flags were thrown.

I laughed on that day, as soon as I realized no flags were thrown.

As soon as the play happened everyone around me started cheering like crazy.  I cringed and started looking for the flag.

I just smiled and shook my head when it didn't come.

So did everyone else.  Ahhh, memories

Agreed, if it hadn't been 30 years since we beat them, we could have hammered them that evening.  It seemed like for every 1 thing we did well that day we gave up 2 huge plays to keep them in it or give them back the lead.

Thanks for posting that game, Fatty. I mean it. The outcome sucked for us, but it was a complete classic of a game no matter who you were cheering for. It had big name players, a national tv audience, controversial calls, big plays, and your fans storming the field. I hadn't seen that game in years.

I asked a few fellow Nebraska fans if they kept it around, but surprisingly none of them had it.

P.S. I still can't believe that Crouch didn't break his neck.  :blindfold:

I think I still have a couple bets to collect on from that game.  Weird how I couldn't find my 'sker friends after the game, they weren't anywhere on the field.

To be honest, I was surprised our team played as well as they did. It sucks that our running back got hurt early, but overall Crouch played awesome for a freshman.

It was neat watching Bishop again. He was such a great quarterback. That game really brings me back.

If you watch frame by frame it is clear Eric Crouch was faking it

True, my brother-in-law was on the team then.  According to him, many others, and of course video evidence, it wasn't a facemask.  It was an ear hole.

It could look goofy, unless it's got shoulders.  But even then it might just look like the side of a helmet.

That was outstanding.  Hard to believe we're approaching the 10 year anniversary of that game.
