Agreed, if it hadn't been 30 years since we beat them, we could have hammered them that evening.  It seemed like for every 1 thing we did well that day we gave up 2 huge plays to keep them in it or give them back the lead.

Thanks for posting that game, Fatty. I mean it. The outcome sucked for us, but it was a complete classic of a game no matter who you were cheering for. It had big name players, a national tv audience, controversial calls, big plays, and your fans storming the field. I hadn't seen that game in years.

I asked a few fellow Nebraska fans if they kept it around, but surprisingly none of them had it. 

P.S. I still can't believe that Crouch didn't break his neck.

To be honest, I was surprised our team played as well as they did. It sucks that our running back got hurt early, but overall Crouch played awesome for a freshman. 

It was neat watching Bishop again. He was such a great quarterback. That game really brings me back.

True, my brother-in-law was on the team then.  According to him, many others, and of course video evidence, it wasn't a facemask.  It was an ear hole.
