Beasley will be let go if we get a new coach and Beasley wants to leave after the new coach talks to him.

The mediots and ku fans are jumping the gun on this one.

I can't listen to Petro.  I had him on yesterday and he spent the first half hour talking about absolute bull$hit work and drinking stuff with buddies.  I don't mind a little of that banter, but damn.

Opcat you need to quit listening to the radio.  You seem to hate everything they say and we're bombarded with 10 posts a day from you updating us on their latest comments which you disagree with.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I take no joy in saying this but I've been telling you for over a year that Soren Petro was worthless and you didn't listen and I told people when we were looking to hire a basketball coach we shouldn't go anywhere near It and nobody listened to me there either. I take no joy in saying that I told you so.

Kevin Durant couldn't beat ku and he is better than Beasley.  Also, UT had a better supporting cast with Augustin, Abrams, and James.

Beasley is going to be good and you should do what you can to keep him, but ku fans aren't scared of him.

The problem with Petro and 810 (and I listen most days) is the competition.  I cannot stand to Romey and the band of Romey wannabes over on 610.  Those fools make Petro, Keitz, et al, look like sports savants.

excellent point, i used to listen to the DA show in the morning, but that guy is almost a mirror image of the Rome show, it's pathetic - the "email of the day" even the listeners are trying to sound more clone-like with the way that the people call into the Rome show, it's horrible. I dont want to admit it, but I find myself listening to Greg Sharpe on 580 and *YAWN* Matt *YAWN* Walters *YAWN* on 1350 KMA zzzzzzzzzz. Matt Walters is pretty freaking boring - and a pretty sorry interview, but hey - he isn't a jacka$$

Kevin Durant was the best college freshman in who knows how long.  He was a once in a generation type player.  You are on crack if you think that Beasley is better than Durant.

Also, in the ku game in Lawrence, Durant hurt his ankle(not his knee).  When he did that, ku was leading the game and starting to pull away.  Right after he got hurt, UT went on a 5-0 run and pulled within a point or two.  He came back in the game and ku won the game without UT ever getting a shot late to actually win(the last 3 would've tied).  In Ok City, he wasn't hurt.

If you want to see the spinning, look in the mirror.

ku was lucky to beat UT both times.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Lucky?  Both of those big leads were erased by the first TV timeout in the 2nd half.  UT was lucky to even have a chance to tie in the game in Lawrence because ku missed free throws.  The game in Ok City went down to the wire.

ku plays home games in Ok City?  Weird.

I guess it's nice to now have home arenas in Lawrence, KC, Manhattan, Boulder, and now Oklahoma City.

Were you really scared?  Seriously.  Personally, I thought UT was a good matchup for Kansas going into both of those games.  I respected the talent they had and their ability to score, but I always knew that ku could withstand a great scoring day for those guys because ku had enough talent to score with them and UT didn't play great defense.  Durant played two phenomenal games against ku and ku still won both games.  That says a lot.
