Check the 2010 thread bro
Thought he wouldn't eligible until January '11, so I just threw it in this thread.

But he will sign with this class.  So he's a '10 recruit.

We're not going to have this transfer scholarship confusion again are we?

Nino Williams played @ Olathe South last night.  EMAW co-worker of mine went and checked him out.

Said he is built well.  About 6'4".  Hit from outside (3).  Good stroke, active, STRONG.  After a year in prep school he should be a beast.  Said he will be a 3 but will have to put on some muscle.

I HATE the Dom comparisons but he's basically a less athletic Dom with a jumper.

Thanks.

Sutton is an good comparison, but this part is so relative; its kind of like saying "a shorter Henriquez".   :D

Yes

Quote
"I went up when Shane Southwell was there one weekend and then I went up there with Nino (Williams) last weekend. Nino is a big pickup for K-State. With him coming a year late will give him a little time to get stronger, mature and continue to get better.

"He had transferred to Kansas City and the school he was in shut down halfway through the year so the credits he had gotten didn't count, so he lost some credits. He was on track to graduate, but he was already set for prep school, so he is going to just do that and then join us a year later. He will be coming up this weekend on Saturday, too."

Former 3 time state champion Rico Richardson reportedly has been offerd by Kansas State.  I rember sending Delonte Hill an e-mail to check this kid out when he was a freshman tearing it up at Highland Park. Should be a senior at Park this year but got in trouble with the law so he moved up to Chicago.

good find.  Wouldn't make sense for us to offer Richardson but not Boatright, but whatever.

Was not aware of that.  I'm not very good at computers though.  I either can't or don't know how to do that now so may be gone completely.

For those with TWC in KC, Nino Williams is playing now on Metro Sports against Olathe South. He has been very impressive thus far.

Watched Nino play last night at Liberty.  He had some dunks, hit a 3, but sat most of the game because his team was so far ahead.  The entire Liberty tourney is on TV in the KC metro on Time Warner Cable channel 5.  Leavenworth plays Liberty tomorrow night at 7 pm, and then will be on again on Friday night.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

If you had to make comparisons, in size and athletic ability he seems comparable to Sutton.  He still has 16 months of High School before he gets to KSU.

He actually has 4 months left. He is a senior this year and he will be going to prep school next year.
