You can't be racist and like basketball.
Things are looking good with Quinn Cook.

"(A visit to Kansas State) will probably be after the season," he said. "It'll be hard to do something during the season, so that's not going to come until after. He's spoken with K-state but hasn't had a chance to watch a game yet this year. I know he's real close with (Wildcat assistant coach) Dalonte Hill. They've been in contact."

"Quinn fits their style of play very well because he loves to run and be the guy passing the ball," Parker said. "That's what Dalonte always talks about. They wouldn't lose anything. We talk about (Jacob Pullen), and how when he's leaving, Quinn would be coming in. You don't miss a beat there. His final decision is going to be what his relationship is with a coach and what his chances of playing early are, though"

Dalonte, this is what all those Ks are for.

Yeah, if he whiffs on Cook and Goodman, I think we need Tang400k or something.

cassidy's update takes cook from around a 0.001% chance to maybe a 1.0% chance.  it's nice that parker makes the effort to blow smoke up the ksu fan's ass, but it's a long way from looking good.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

You know who else used to play basketball with the Dallas Mustangs AAU organization?  A kid named Nick Russell.

Rivals has ku as the leader and this guy doesn't list ku.  Probably confusing K-State & ku.

kinda weird but not really all that weird:

Quote
Point guard Shane Larkin spoke with ESPN's Miami affiliate www.InsideTheU.com about his recruitment and his recent visit to Miami.

Larkin, the son of former MLB shortstop Barry Larkin, currently holds offers from George Mason, Virginia Commonwealth, Central Florida and South Florida.

"I do wanna have a good relationship with all the coaches and they have to play my style of basketball, like up-tempo," Larkin said.

Of his visit to the U, he said, "I went there on an unofficial visit on I think the 6th of November, and I liked it, the campus and everything and the coaches seemed real cool, like a family."

Larkin is also being pursued by Alabama, Clemson, South Carolina, Florida State, Cincinnati and Kansas State among others. He hopes to make a decision before his senior season.

One of the reasons myself and others have hopeful expectations on Angel.

I really like Angel.  No idea why.  Maybe because of his mysteriousness?

maybe because he's an angel, can you imagine being in his arms?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

new cook article.

great news: 1. malone is like an uncle, 2. not concerned with staying near home, 3. ohio st is out, 4. looking for a "family enviro" and a good "relationship with the coach".

poorer news:  1. he either doesn't recall, or care to acknowledge, that kstate is recruiting him.
