He was saying that Maryland planned on claiming sovereign immunity, I LOLed. He said that Maryland had precedence with WVU doing the same with the Big East suing them in Rhode Island. I was trying to tell him there was no precedence because 1. the WVU case was settled before a ruling and 2. the ACC could just sue Maryland in the Maryland courts. I would think it would e difficult to find a judge in Maryland who is willing to risk trouble by being a Maryland fanboi, same can't be said about West Virginia and the judges there.

I personally wouldn't expect to hear much more than, "Yeah, we met to discuss expansion, and if the right opportunities present themselves, we'll be open to exploring them, but we're perfectly happy with ten members."

It's pretty clear that no one in the ACC is doing anything until Maryland's fate is decided.
