Frank Martin postgame: "I've done a bad job of coaching this team. That won't happen again."

Makes me feel good that he comes out and says it

It's easy to forget sometimes that Frank is still growing as a coach.

biggest thing I liked about his coaching today was the dramatic reduction of punitive substitutions

He simply didn't have to.  Frank is way beyond anything ksu will ever deserve.

We're building him a new $20 million dollar state-of-the-art practice facility.  He'll most likely get another raise in the near future.

when you punitively kick one guy off the team, and punitively bench two or three other players, it dramatically impacts your ability to punitively substitute.

i have no interest in praising martin for his inability to retain the players he recruited.

the frank martin that gave the post-game interview is actually the same frank martin that forced asprilla to leave.

I don't know where you are coming from on this....I really don't.  Maybe you are an Asprilla jock sniffer but the fact is, for whatever reason, Frank booted him.  You have no idea why.  Maybe he was disruptive in practice, maybe he practiced like he played (like crap), who gives a crap.  If that's what it takes to get this teams attention, I'm all for it.  Something worked...the first half was the best a ksu team has played in many years.

I'd like that quote a lot more if it didn't exist and we were 3-0 in conference.

But like sys alluded to, Tech didn't even try to play transition D.  Of course we better rough ridin' run more in this game.  Doc won't let us play that way.
