KU fans and winning the Big 12

Anyone else recall how so many KU fans were saying before the season they didn't care about winning the Big 12?    A KU poster on another site refuses to eblieve anyone would say such a thing.     Surely I'm not the only one who remembered this, but I'm having trouble finding quotes since it's been so long.

every ku fan i know said that everyone was way overhyping ksu and that ku would win the big 12.  i mean, it was so obvious.  i've even bet my mu friend we win the big 12 and sweep them.  i did this in september

KU is the best basketball team in the Big 12 always.  The rest of us just play for second place.  go hawks.
