goEMAWtards . . . you've just been Krugerized.

Put an umbrella in your drink and grab your sunglasses when Frank squeaks into the postseason, exits in the first round and grabs the first plane out to Miami.

Think of the roof top scene in Saigon '75.

The worst part is that I'm sitting here watching a bubble team and I know right now that I'm going to be disappointed if they don't make the final four.

Keep your heads up EMAWs; we still have four Big Monday games to showcase this team to the nation.

If God is just trying to make me more thankful for last year, tell him I get the point now, he can stop being such a dick.

It's pretty awesome how both of my alma maters have a history of imploding in spectacular fashion. And by awesome I mean I want to drink a dumptruck's worth of Drano.

And you choose to end up a K-State fan? Probably should have thought that one through.

What is/was harder to watch this year...

kstate football

or

kstate mens basketball

My vote- bball, strictly because of expectations. However, watching our football team against N. Texas was stupid hard.

I like to think of it as giving me an excuse to get colossally wasted if K-State and/or Texas State ever do hit it big.

Easily basketball. They had a top 5 ranking once (as undeserved as it was). We fully expected football to go like 6-6 or something like that...although Cosh does make me want to impale a family of baby seals.

Nothing hard about watching a win.  Hope our MBB team can get one in the conference.  Nebraska?  OU?  Maybe?

Had fun watching football this season; emotional investment was minimal. Basketball has hit me hard. Like, no joke; I'm at a all-time low point in my K-State fandom career right now, walking around with what is surely an unhealthy amount of hate-filled angst. I lash out towards loved ones as well as complete strangers. It's like that joke that you heard one too many times, and it's just not funny anymore. Another letdown; different verse, same old song. I beat the crap out of my dog the other night. Like, for no reason, just pounded on the poor guy. Really took it to him. I think I'm developing a tumor from all the stress. Something has to change guys. Something.

I'm thinking about quitting sports fandom all together. I root for rough ridin' goats in every league who get piss pounded for years on end and then do something to get my hopes up only to fall flat on their asses in the end. I know for a fact that none of my teams (Chiefs, Royals, Cats Football and Basketball) will ever win a championship while I'm alive. Most years they won't even sniff a championship, so they can be ignored early and forgotten about. But the years when they make a bit of noise or have preseason expectations are the worst and will eventually lead to my premature death.

So, assuming there were no sports, what the hell would I spend my time doing? Banging super models by the bus-load sounds fun?
