happy to have so many hockey fans, the NHL is so much better than the cycle-fest that is olympic hockey

Is it on national TV much? Any channel other than NBCSN? Maybe I'll pick a team. :D

Don't let MIR bully you into liking Phoenix or some of these other losers push you towards San Jose. St Louis is the team to cheer for. Goaltending can be a bit maddening but they're basically the junkyard cats of the NHL

I like the idea of STL because they're kind of local..

Local and you can get a pretty good look at them during the Olympics. Oshie, Shattenkirk, and Backes from the US, Bouwmeester and Pietrangelo for Canada, and Steen and Berglund from Sweden

I think the fact that he's chose the Russian space station as his SN speaks volumes. Volumes.

Guys the women's hockey gold medal final between USA and Canada is just underway and you gotta watch it. This is really the biggest rivalry in hockey men's or women's. These are the only two good countries in women's hockey and unlike the men the Americans and Canadians don't play together in a domestic league, this is the pinnacle of women's hockey.

These two sides got into a line brawl, a fight comprised of all players on the ice, just a month ago. The line brawl wasn't basketball fighting either, these girls were throwing haymakers. These teams HATE each other.

GO USA!

canada seems like the kind of country that would line up an NES Ice Hockey all medium sized guys team v. a USA team of 2 fat guys and 2 skinny guys. I don't have to tell you guys which one is the superior team.

Just getting to start watching the game, but ice hockey is one of the few team sports I enjoy watching the women's version almost as much as the men, especially when USA/Canada games are on. I just wish there was a few more quality teams. It seemed the rest of the field was slightly improved from 4 years ago so maybe there's hope.
