Super mega gpc insider posts about the super-insidery email he just received:

I probably should not have said anything. I can not say anything else as this is a pretty sensative situation. But from what I got out of the email, there will be a lot of surprised CAT fans. Remember when someone posted earlier this week that they spoke with a coach and he said it was going to get crazy? Well, that is exactly what it is going to get from what I got out of the email. I am sorry, and I will delete my original post if I need to.

And as we all know as quatz fans, "surprise" is just another word for biggest KITN possible.

If the big surprise turns out to be really good news I fully expect all guilty parties to issue full apologies for the nasty things posted on this board about LHC Bill Snyder.

Why?  He started this mess to begin with.

I should apologize for saying he should do what he's supposed to do?

Nothing wrong with wanting Cosh fired and Leavitt hired.  I wholeheartedly agree.  I just wish people weren't so mean and nasty about it, jumping to conclusions, etc.  The man has earned my respect, and I'm sure he knows as well as anyone that the defense sucked last year.  With that in mind, my comment was partly tongue in cheek, meaning we can LOL at the notion of internet tough guys apologizing for past comments on a message board.
just because you helped to build something doesn't mean you have the right to tear it down.

very true...parents aren't allowed to murder their children just because they brought them into the world.

Cripps doesn't know anything. He's the same tard who said Arthur Brown would be eligible by the ISU game.

Yeah I think that's pretty well known.

Only if the "really good news" is Snyder admitting that he can no longer coach, recruit, or put together a decent staff and therefore he will be stepping down and allowing Currie to do his own search and will only offer input on the hire if asked.  I would regain some respect for Snyder and apologize for my comments if this were to happen.

Here's another theory to bounce off of some people to see if anyone thinks it's likely.  The only official Job offer JL has is KSU.  As for the 49'rs, nothings been extended or he hasn't accepted because the details of the KSU offer haven't been hammered out.  & the details of the KSU offer won't be hammered out until Obz gets someone to bite on Cosh's resume and get him a new job instead of firing his ass.

Just pulling this out of my ass because I really thought there would have been some sort of movement by now.
Good is better than Evil because it's nicer.

Nothing new really.

Sounds like he's still weighing his options at this point.  Need to put a bigger carrot on the stick.  Go get 'em Bill!!!!!

i don't know much, but i know i'd rather have bill for a few more years and then roll the dice then to just give leavitt the hc job right now and have bill step down. in the grand scheme of things, that would be the worst possible move. just terrifying horrible. good thing we're not doing that.

maybe just use your admin powers to lock saul out of adminning and then we (you) could do whatever we want to this place, including changing the name of the site and locking all of the pro-leavittite admins out of admin privileges. dunno. seems like that could be done in five minutes and a whole new site would take a day or so. whatever though. your call.

I could accept JL as head coach if and only if we have a search and he's the best we can get.

+1

I just want to stop being awful at defense right now.

Best case scenario: Leavitt comes, hangs out for a year or two as DC, Snyder retires, and we have a coaching search with him as a candidate.  Currie goes out and hires someone better.

Worst case scenario: Leavitt becomes the head coach, which isn't completely terrible even if it's not ideal.
