STORMNUT YOU SON OF A BITCH

I laughed way harder at this than a grown man in an office should have.

Update:

with the 12z models I am questioning how much snow we will get in MHK. May stay way west. Doubting now if we will see 12 inches of snow like I said this morning.

there's nothing about going to class on ksu's beautiful campus that is miserable. get some rough ridin' perspective.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

I like snow you guys. Build a snowman, ride your sled, then in the evening cuddle up with that special someone with some hot cocoa and cookies and watch reruns of I Love Lucy.

Yeah, here comes all the weathertards... "Our previous models are changing and now we'll get a dusting and some rain. Ooops"

Still could but the newest model data which that is based around keeps slowing this system down but keeps it weakening over time. I questioning how far east the 1 foot line moves now.

If there is one thing you can always count on, it is for weather predictions to be wrong.

If you understand how models work you would not crap soo much on them. It's a amazing piece of science that we can be even as close as we are in predicting weather.

Yet they never seem to predict 2" and end up with 10".

Never say never. Ask the people that got 3 or 4 inches of snow last week when the forecast only had a trace.

STormnut I'm not bagging you or the "science". I'm bagging the f*cking nancys here in KC on the weather that are claiming a freaking deathstorm 3 days in advance and then slowly back away to... Oh nevermind it's just going to be an inch or two... BECAUSE MODELS.

My industry makes lots of decisions based on crap like this.  Making the country think we are basically going to be wiped off the map for a few days just to get ratings is bullshit.

Thinking 10 to 12. waiting for the 18z models and see if the slowing trend continues. That will not come out till 3 or 4 this after noon.

But it is the people that have pushed for these long range forecasts. Anything 3 days out or more can be a crap shoot. 3 days ago the weather system that is coming in was not even over land.
