A Tribute to CU Envy
« on: January 09, 2011, 10:24:11 PM »
It is with great clinically diagnosed depression and desiccating weepiness that in 2011 we bid adieu to the University of Colorado intelligentsia and the even intelligentsier Shangri-la on the Front Range itself, beatific Boulder.  We are henceforth forever emancipated from our Sisyphean charge of making that God-awful drive across what might as well be the distant and desolate surface of the rough ridin' moon, for Christ’s sake, yet we find that our sorrows really aren’t getting any less deep than they were before.  For, it is ascension to your blessed mountain, illuminati of the Flatirons, that has been our preferred method of salvation for two to three years now, maybe even four.  So, for one last time, my fellow lovelorn cast-offs, let us proceed to Google image search ourselves into a stupor.

i can't even imagine the depths of self-loathing necessary to be envious of colorado and coloradans.

Neither can I.  It's just something we all must learn to embrace.

JFC. That guy on the right doesn't even have shoes on. :frown:

And since this is on the basketball board. How adorable is Burks. JFC. If he decided to come here my head would probably pop off with all of the adorableness.

But if you had the choice between relatively small, flat, rural city compared to a hip, mountain, metropolis, you'd still NGAF about it?

I for one, would choose the latter.
