I dont have co workers that can sabotage me. Chain of command basically goes: Owner ---> Me ---> 15 or so mexicans

Feels good man  :gocho:

You're already mumped if you think that those 15 or so mexicans can't/and or won't go over you or start doing things to make you look like crap, if you piss them off.

Good thing my boss is incredibly  :opcat:

I run a food production plant fyi

If your manager is worth a crap he'll know that jimmy is a dbag unless of course he likes to let people like that tbag him.  Then you're mumped.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

Suzy Q sounds like a genius.

QFT, Suzy Q is just playing the game.  And winning, from the sounds of it.

it's not a big deal, if your boss had an issue with you he would take it up w/ you.  he knows he's not there to babysit you and doesn't intend to.  prob more annoyed with d-bag jimmy than anyone else.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

The SuzyQ situation was admirable.  I agree with the comments about clever her actions were even if they are unscrupulous.
I just didn't understand why she would do it on such a minor
Project.  That and when the other group finds out what she is doing.
Then she will have to contend with them.

Here's another from my lawyer friend.  One atty runs into the opposing atty in
The courthouse and tells him the court date is changed.  Opposing
Counsel skips the court date and looks like an ass.

Here is another situation that I call Project Stealing.

4 of us are working on  a project that is semi-important. My goal is to do an analysis, kill the issues, and get on to more important work.  One of the project members, let's call her Suzy Q, has other intentions.

Suzy Q greatly exagerates the issues we identify and turns the proverbial molehill into a mountain.  Ends up with our Manager getting worked up and taking it to the Corpoarte Board.

Next Suzy Q seeks total control of the project.  She accomplishes this by setting up Project Meetings and sending out double invitations.  In other words she'll send out 1 set of invitations to the other 3 employees working on the project, and a second set of invitations to High Level Managers (who are all in a frizzy) who appear at the last part of the meeting, which can be really confusing since nobody else expects Board Member X to show up.  Another tactic is the last minute meeting invitation.  Where she schedules a meeting with High Level Managers and then 1 hour before the meeting Suzy Q invites the rest of us -- who are really unprepared  -- to show up.  It's not like you can't show, when your Manager and 2nd Level boss are there.  This allows her to dominate the agenda, she looks like the only one who cares about the project and is asked to lead the project.  Lots of credit stealing that Willie Wannabe described is also going on.

This project is a mess.  Lots of political implications since Suzy Q has stirred the pot into a boil and the issues implicate a different work group.

My solution was to get the the hell out.

Suzy Q's eventually get found out and fired.

not in jobs where politics are involved.  All Suzy Q's have to do is claim an ethics violation from some sexist scandal, and they're set with a cake job for life.   As long as they show up, don't steal anything from the company, don't lie about their time card, or do anything else to justify them being fired without question, they have no reason to ever fear being fired.

This type of crap happens all around where I work.  I work with two really bad ones, but the lesser of two evils just left the company to become a missionary in some foreign country I can't pronounce.  Dude was classic thrill seeking psychopath and would just eff with people to make himself feel/seem better or smarter.  He got away with it by kissing up / flattering his lead (who is the other main sabotage-er)  She is an ugly, aging, low self esteem single woman, literally sucking the bosses dick, and will do ANYTHING to just have a friend.

To better characterize her personality, she is the type of woman that talks about her pet birds all day like they're her rough ridin' children and has no life outside of work - but is constantly going home to "work Virtual" from her computer at home, because "she just can't get anything done with all the distractions at work".  She's a Graphic Design Lead who has never designed a thing in the entire 30 years she's been employed.   Just swings from dick to dick to get a raise or keep her job - constantly painting targets on other peoples backs to keep it off of hers.

We'd turn her in, but we're pretty sure she'd take our boss down with her, and our boss stays out of our hair and gives us good raises every year.  Probably because he knows we all know he's rough ridin' one of his employees and doesn't want to stir anything up for his career & his married home life.

But whatever, we're all in a mexican stand-off and whoever pulls the trigger first will go down with their target.   Kind of a fun game when you realize, you just don't want to be the one to shoot first.  Just make sure you're allies with the dude who has his gun pointed at whoever has their gun pointed at you.  <--- Make sense?

Suzy is dumb.  She could cover her own ass, by not inviting the upper level management earlier.  Why doesn't she just prepare for the meeting ahead of time and send out later invites to everyone.  How much does your manager really have to prepare for these meetings? Just to listen to you speak about a project?

Also, your first two stories involving you make me want to quit your job for you.  Unless cracka is a dbag that fits the company culture?  :ck:

Start giving Suzy the sex, she'll put in the good word for you and you are money. To seal the deal, you might want to move in with her - then when she's all  with you and your cockandballs and you guys are drinking wine by candlelight with Boys to Men playing on the hi-fi - kick her skank ass to the curb, shag her hot binge-drinking freind tell her you still have feelings for your baby mama or the like. VOILA, she becomes an emotional mess and quits and YOU are the new golden boy. Game-set-match.
