My original post was nothing of the sort and points out the blatant disregard in policy to help the black population. The Lib's would rather have them relying on Government programs rather than actually developing policy to employ the minority inner city population.

I don't agree with the OP, but it is true that the once proud and necessary NAACP has become a racist parody of itself. Rather than fighting true racism, they perpetuate racism by finding it where none exists, simply to draw attention to themselves. Racists have become a fringe element in our country, but the NAACP, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, et al, will fade away, along with racism, unless they manufacture more.

i think thats a pretty optimistic outlook on racism. don't really disagree with your points on NAACP, but our country is a long way from making racism something of the past.

There are areas of the country that are definitely more racist than others, but I still believe it is on it's way out if we can stop bringing it unwarranted attention.
