It would likely improve, but it would still be disappointing.
What if the staff would have landed Burks and Dixon? We likely would be defending NC, but neither of those that hot of recruits.

I guess this is as good a thread as any to put this in, but what impact do you think a school's beat writers can have on recruiting positively or negatively?

I don't mean in terms of exposure for a player. I'm more referring to a creepiness factor. Influence is probably the wrong word.I'm just spitballing ideas for why our recruiting has been steadily mediocre for the last several years in all sports outside of the works huggs and friends did while he was unemployed.
