The entire game was chippy. Those tree huggers from Berkely were very angry. Our poor Kansas boys were dragged down to their level. At one point a player repeated rammed his face into Marcus Morris' elbow. It was an obvious attempt to hurt Marcus' elbow. Just classless.
Another play a Cal player was getting in the way of Thomas Robinson while Robinson was trying to rebound. Apparently, the pac10 announcer said it was called "boxing out" but seriously this is KU and these are good young men. Thomas clearly wanted to grab that ball and the Cal player was in his way. So the guy grabbed Thomas' arm and thomas just turned around and the result was the Cal player being heaved to the floor in a pile of flailing feet and arms.
Finally, the same player who got in Thomas' way was obviously saying very mean things to Brady Morningstar. My guess he was challenging why a 30 year old man was playing in college. Brady being the good young man he is swiped the ball out of the cal's players hands during a dead ball. Clearly Brady was just trying to help the Cal player.
KU is done playing with those meanies from the Pac10. Who knew they played total thugball out in the west coast??
