Say what you want, but this team actually looked like they
cared about winning for one of the first times all year. Because I care about winning too, I was happy to see the effort. If the team played like that with Pullen/Kelly, we win by by 6-8. If we knew how to take care of the ball and make layups we win by 10-15.
Don't get me wrong, the loss really stunk. We made enough boneheaded plays to lose us the game. That hasn't changed, and it needs to desperately. At the same time, our enthusiasm for the game was high, and I liked that part of it.
