Time to wear the purples?

Has Frank forgot that our school colors are PURPLE and white?

My opinion is I'd rather lose in our school color than win in black. Last I checked, the fight song is still "Glory into combat for the PURPLE and the white..." Wearing black when it's not your school color is not original, overdone, and it sucks.

i'd agree, except that from 1903-1906, kstate official school colors were black and tan (soil & wheat).  look it up.

A caller brought this up on the Frank Martin Radio Show this week. Frank says he allows the players to pick out the uni's. He believes it should be their choice - he also implied that he would rather not put forth the effort of trying to tell a group of young adults what to wear - as it is one less thing that causes conflict before a game. My guess would be he allows the "capt'n(s)" to make the choice - hell maybe it is a democracy - I do not know.

i think we should be wearing our blue/oranges, our true school colors and anyone who has been a cat fan and knows our university can attest to the fact that we changed colors almost 100 years ago to purple and white.  purple is dumb.
