Does everybody keep a couple of em around out of pity, entertainment, or simply to boost yourself up?  I currently have a drunk & a dolt that can't get laid in my stable.

nope.  Pretty selective with my friends.  Quality more than Quantity.  I don't have much spare time.  Don't like to spend it with people who annoy me.
