Mattress

Have a Simmons memory foam.  Will never go back to a spring mattress as long as I live.  Probably the best purchase I've ever made.

I wouldn't buy a tempur pedic but it's the same technology.

Got a memory foam mattress topper, but we took it off.  My back couldn't handle it lying on my stomach.

Any "topper" is like having to eat a piece of crap so you add an extra piece of bread.  Just don't eat the piece of crap would be my advice.

I have heard that mem foam makes you hot while sleeping. I hate being hot while sleeping. Is it true?

Wifey and I are planning to buy a new mattress by the end of the year.

I was worried about this too.  I'm a very hot sleeper.  Has not been a problem at all.  Considering getting the memory foam pillow that clams has too.

Have a sleep zone.  Love it.  No problems with heat.  They have vents also to keep air free flowing.

We seriously considered a memory foam a while back...but I just couldn't get use to the "squishy" feeling.  We went with a high end pillow-top king instead, and I've been happy with it.

I have the same problem.  Also makes me hot if I don't turn in the night.  Wake up with sweaty back.

Pillow Tops are awesome in the same sense that NBA Jams on the Sega iis still awesome. You can remember thinking that they were the crap, but it is time to move on to the new tech. I am not making fun, I still have a Pillow Top, but I recognize and am saving for the new big deal.

Good Mattress is one of the top three most important things you should spend good money on. It falls immediately behind hot women and booze.

You ever help someone move and you get to the mattresses only to find that they are just filth ridden with stains? :barf:  You are sitting there thinking, "wtf is going on here?"  Don't know if they guy has a problem or if his wife/girlfriend is some kind of massive squirter.  Disgusting to the point where you start to question your friendship?   I mean you don't even really want to touch them because they look so nasty?  Well, I have.  Once.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

Seems accurate.  50% of the households that I have been to the bedrooms of long enough to observe the mattress have them.

I feel like Warren Buffet does some kind of subsidizing Nebraskans and their beds through NFM.

Anyway, what are the advantages to this bed?  Sleep deeper?  wake up less?

how is it to, well you know, on?   :fatty:

Im afraid of such a big purchase like that because if you don't like it, you are fracked but you won't know until a week or so after getting it.

Sleep much better.  Don't feel anything when mrs. dave moves around or gets out of bed.  sexy time took some getting used to.  Seems to have better traction but no "bounce".

Something you get when you're bored with your partner but are too scared to try sex toys or bondage.  :users:
My sister Stheno says I "verily personify the terrors of the sea" and would be a "real catch" for any man with half a brain.

Maybe some people exude a large amount of semen. Why the hate?   :dunno:
