i knew one of the guys that was killed fairly well as well as the person who managed to survive. pretty sad deal for me.

I audited a Criminal Profiling class taught by Landwehr.  Unfortunately, the BTK case was active at that point so he couldn't say much about that but he spent days talking about the Carrs brothers.  Lots of pretty graphic pictures too.  That Landwehr dude has an amazing memory, he remembers dates, times, makes and models of cars, etc from 20 yrs ago.

Took an intersession class where Landwehr and another detective came in and talked to use for 4-1/2 hours about BTK.  Saw all the (unedited) pictures, interviews, etc.  Pretty gruesome.

Not sure if they still do it but for anyone who wants a great intersession course take "Sociological Perspective of a Serial Killer."  It is offered during Winter intersession.

I audited that course because I was banging a chick that was enrolled in it.  She lived over by the 21st/29th and Woodlawn area at that time.  Lots of the Carrs brother's crimes occured in that are and, towards the end of the course, they found a package from BTK at that home depot.  Neeedless to say, the chick I was doing and her roommates were scared out of their gourds for quite some time.

That all happened less than five miles away from my house. I was ten. Still remember it. Didn't know until last year that one of the K-State guys that was shot posted on GPC frequently.
