TOP TEN WORST BOWL IN FOOTBALL HISTORY!

The worst bowl locales in CFB history
Found 1 day ago on Lost Lettermen:
With bowl season just around the corner, we can’t help but envy some of the teams that are heading to picturesque destinations like Pasadena, Miami or Glendale. Then there are the teams that aren’t heading to those places. With 35 bowl games this season, not everyone is going to provide a trip to Disneyland and an escape from the winter. And while a trip to Boise, ID, might not seem ideal for Fresno State and Northern Illinois fans over this holiday season, there’s been worse. And to prove it, we ranked the Top 10 Worst Bowl Game Destinations Ever. 10. Dayton, OH: Aviation Bowl (1961) 9. Toronto, Canada: International Bowl (2007-10) 8. East Rutherford, NJ: Garden State Bowl (1978-81) 7. Cleveland, OH: Great Lakes Bowl (1947) 6. Boise, ID: Humanitarian Bowl (1997-Present) 5. New York, NY: Gotham Bowl (1961-62), Pinstripe Bowl (2010-Present) 4. College Park, MD: Presidential Cup Bowl (1950) 3. Washington, D.C.: Military Bowl (2008-Present) 2. Seattle, W...

How in the hell is any bowl game in NYC worse than a game in Dayton, Ohio? That is a sad sad place. The '47 Great Lakes Bowl in Cleveland, Ohio - trust me its pretty much Dayton on a larger scale with a little more racism mixed in. Or a marginally better Detroit (by the way, just released figures show D-Town with 78,000 vacant homes...insane).  Although in '47 Cleveland was probably a swinging place...

A bowl in Ames, Iowa, now that would be some cac.

My first thought - any bowl that is not the national championship game.

My second thought - any bowl who's payout is less than 2 mil.

My final thought - since most bowls are irrelevant, it all depends on location, therefore NYC even in December would be nowhere near the worst. Off the top of my head, would not want to be bowling in Detroit, that may be the worst.

Agreed... also North Dakota, Montana or Wyoming are not cool.  Oh wait, very cool, as a matter of fact, Ice Frickin Cold!

But if they have a pro baseball stadium, then maybe. :fatty:
