I don't know if basketball fans at KU, MU, and KSU know what they are getting themselves into here. The University of Minnesota had 6 National Titles, and dozens of Conference titles before the Vikings moved to town. Once the Vikings came to Minneapolis in 1961... zero National Titles and Zero Conference Titles. Once Kansas City becomes a Pro Basketball town, it could be bad news for the three of you. Minnesota was more of a football power at that time than Kansas is a basketball power. 6 titles>5 titles. Be careful what you wish for. Sprint Center does a lot better business with The Big 12 Tournament, and the Kansas City "Big 3" Universities playing games there than they would with an NBA team. Kansas City should go after a hockey team before they go after an NBA team.
