So if Gray ends up committing to K-State, does that mean Angel Transfers? Who's better? Gray or Angel?

He RT'd a UConn fan this weekend.

The guy knows how to set up his own PR; you have to give it up for him on that.

I think if Orris commits, it means Angel leaves or we don't get Gray.  I don't think it's an "and" situation with Gray and Orris at this point.

What this all really means is if we land Gray, I'll probably be on here slapping hands with everyone of you.  ;)

Kansas State and Cincinnati considering Bobo Drummond 6" PG La Lumiere.

Really don't understand this, I hope it is for walk-on status.

I asked both Bossi and Snow about Drummond right after it became known that Lowery was joining our staff, neither seemed to think he was "high major" caliber and would probably be better suited for the Valley. There were some positive evals of his play this past season:

"Bobo," who is headed to Southern Illinois next season, scored 18 points and notched four assists. The 6-foot pure point guard has nice speed and a quick release on his jumper. Playing with four high-major big men, it's the job of Drummond to play distributor, and he does an excellent job of picking when to shoot and when to be a setup man.

Bobo Drummond, PG, La Lumiere – A very solid floor game from Drummond was key for La Lumiere. He made some open shots early which got La Lumiere going, and then his defensive intensity bothered the Detroit Country Day guards up and down the floor. Drummond is naturally looking to score, but also did a solid job of finding teammates in transition

Maybe one of them will play the 2 and Spradling will leave. :dunno:

By Alex Kline

After the sudden departure of Rick Stansbury as the head coach of Mississippi State, 2012 Bulldogs signee Josh Gray was left with a number of questions. After re-opening his recruitment in the fall, Gray decided it was officially time to part ways with the SEC school as he requested and received his release.

Back on the market, a number of top schools in the ACC, Big-12 and more are pursuing the 2012 6-foot-1 shooting guard from Wheatley in Texas.

It began last Friday when Kansas State, Texas Tech and Virginia Tech came in to see the talented scorer. On Monday, Kansas State head coach oscar Weber and Colorado State head coach Eustachy came in to watch Gray workout. On Tuesday, he will host Texas Tech’s Billy Gillispie and Virginia Tech’s Seth Greenberg, who are pursuing the Texas native hard.

Following this weeks workouts, Josh Gray plans to take a weekend official visit to Texas Tech – which will end Monday – and head to Kansas State beginning Tuesday for another official visit.

No college decision is expected out of Josh Gray this week, but he could make one public next week following these two official visits. There is also a possibility that Gray waits it out and takes a third official visit to Virginia Tech, possibly.

Kline is like the Steve Jobs of recruiting. I can't wait to see what he's done to the recruiting game by the time he's 35.
