Upshaw is more offensively skilled than Cauley at this point. Has very good hands and is pretty good passer out of the high post. Upshaw is also a developing threat to score in the post, can knock down hook shot with either hand, not sure if he can do that with the left consistently though. My understanding of his weaknesses are that he needs to play stronger and more aggressively at all times in the paint and continue to develop his low post game. He's an alright athlete for his size, but not nearly as athletic as Cauley.

Cauley is just a ridiculous run and jump athlete for his height, could be a dominant rebounder and defender. As noted above, is athletic enough to guard some on the perimeter. Is skilled enough that he can make decent passes and not just fumble the ball any time he has hands on it. Post up game could use work, but again, defensive potential/ability alone could carry him to NBA.

Should the opportunity present itself(please hoop gods), I believe we take both and worry about the #'s later.

Yeah, but can he pass behind the back?

Not sure if that uniquely-Asprilla-like skill has been developed by him yet, will be sure to keep everybody here posted if I hear murmurings about it.

mir seems like a really annoying person, but I'm sure he's proud of his biceps.

It's his uncle, I've met him. He's like 6-10 himself and played some college ball.

He probably hates him cause the guy got kicked out of school in 92 for many off the court issues, and seeing as he shared the court in Dodge City with Arthur Long (Cinci) and Stanley Hamilton (KSU) he must have done some crazy crap to get kicked out.  Truth be told there is some quality basketball DNA on both sides of this kids family..

I don't know his story just relaying what I know even if dumbass SD wants to believe otherwise.

that makes me feel better. if it makes u feel any better, you're just a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) understudy while SD is a full fledged underwear outside the pants dipshit. probably strong like retardations tend to be. maybe him and mir can arm wrestle, loser is the catcher.

Upshaw just visited Louisville. Reports of 15 second races and loads of cum dumptsers. Hard to fight that.

Cauley visiting wednesday:

Despite being down to four finalists, Cauley declines to put a hard timetable on a commitment. What he does say is certain, on the other hand, is the fact that he will be off the board during November's early signing period. The rest of the cards in this deck are set to fall at any moment.

"I'll just have to think about things after this last visit," he said.

Helping K-State's cause is a change in attitude when it comes to staying close to home. In recent weeks, Cauley has said proximity to his Kansas City-area family and friends would not be a major factor in his decision. On Tuesday night, however, it seemed his tone on that subject had been subtly adjusted.

"Yeah, (staying close) is very important to me, but … well, we'll have to see. I haven't really sat down to think about everything yet," he said.

Willie Cauley will be arriving in Manhattan around 8. He said he's going out to eat in Aggieville with the coaches. The coaches usually take recruits to Buffalo Wild Wings. Willie is expected to hang with players in the Ville tonight before seeing campus tomorrow.

One of the things that has impressed him on other trips has been the greeting he has received from the fans. If you're in the Ville tonight, look out for a roving 7-footer.

I love how the update is all about food and entertainment rather than basketball or the recruit himself.
