Its pretty simple really. Last year, our adorableness got us to the position of America's team. America thought the yelling was super cute! Now, Frank has to work hard to get everyone OFF our bandwagon just in time for February so that when we make a run (let me dream ok boys) we surprise the country again. He's just weeding out the hangers-on by being a huge jerk in a non-adorable way.

And who gives a crap what they say on PTI. You think Tony has watched 5 seconds of college basketball this year?

i listen to his radio show. he made a comment around thanksgiving comparing martin to pelini. pretty great, since kornheiser's not a college guy.

The thing is Frank doesn't have a filter when watching his team. What comes into his head, comes out his mouth.

True, but it is not like Frank is seeking the attention. People, like Kornheiser, are just paying attention because of Frank's elite status.

IMO, Frank's motivational strategies work on college kids and they produce more wins than they cost us games. I'm concerned that some K-Staters have too quickly forgotten about the Asbury-Wooldridge era of suckitude, great fake tans, and neck braces to truly appreciate where the program is currently. Guys like JHR would be a top 3 player on most of the Asbury-Wooldridge teams. Matt effing Siebrandt was arguably our best offensive player one year with his crab like left handed baby hook. To his credit, was pretty amazing how well he did perform in the Big 12. He was much better suited to play in the MAC or MVC.
