Big Sis at your local Wal-Mart...
« on: December 06, 2010, 10:06:04 PM »
is really necessary?

heck, while we're at it... I recently saw a TSA advertisement at a gas station in Houston, so I decided to do a little searching... wonder who will foot the bill for an expanding "security" force?

I wonder if they are playing that at mosques and islamic centers across the country?

Do terrorists frequent the local Walmarts?

You are probably more likely to find a terrorist at Walmart than a mosque.

There are just a lot more people in Walmart on a daily basis than there are mosques. Terrorists have to buy groceries, too.

There may be more people at Walmart, but I can guarantee there are more terrorists in mosques on a daily basis.

JD,

You have to remember that NK is including Conservatives and Tea Partiers in his "terrorist" count.

No, only bombers, shooters, and plane hijackers.

some examples:
Ted Kaczynski
Timothy McVeigh
the Fort Hood shooter
Al Qaeda
That Asian dude at Virginia Tech, and any other school shooters

Uhh, yes. 3 vs hundreds of thousands. We should concentrate our efforts on those 3.

Hundreds of thousands of terrorists have pulled off attacks on US soil? Also, there have been more than 3 school shootings alone, often with multiple shooters. Don't forget that Hitler was a Christian.

Where do you think terrorists in America buy their groceries? Do you think they have their own terrorist food stores?

School shooters are not terrorists, they are mentally ill individuals.  Hundreds of thousands of Islamo-terrorists want to kill any and all Americans.

I forgot the the goal was only to stop people who have already committed terrorist acts.

Honestly, what do you think the ratio of Muslim terrorists is to all other races/creeds/religions/etc.  in the world today???  If its just as likely that a high school shooter is going to commit an act of terror as a jihadist muslim, don't you think Obama's war efforts in Pokestan and Afganneestan are slightly misguided?  I mean, it would be way cheaper to fight a war against Jeff Davis High.  (I expect answers to all these questions, not a story about a mailman that "went postal")

Honestly, what do you think the ratio of Muslim terrorists is to all other races/creeds/religions/etc.  in the world today??? This is irrelevant.  If its just as likely that a high school shooter is going to commit an act of terror as a jihadist muslim, don't you think Obama's war efforts in Pokestan and Afganneestan are slightly misguided? Absolutely.  I mean, it would be way cheaper to fight a war against Jeff Davis High.  (I expect answers to all these questions, not a story about a mailman that "went postal") We shouldn't be fighting a war with anybody.

I think the video is evidence enough that we are moving in that direction... startling revelation, I know!

Once again, with the release of videos such as this, I ask, who is the real "fear monger"? Lets keep in mind that Joe Biden wrote what is essentially known as the "Patriot Act".

The "War on Terror" isn't a Democrat vs. a Republican debate. It's those who favor an increasingly authoritarian line of thinking against those would rather take personal security into their own hands.

The only problem is Republicans and Democrats are both very much in favor of the anti-liberty "anti-terror" movement when they're in power and oppose it when they are out-of-power.  They're all full of crap.

Yup. Those of us who are opposed to the majority of arguments put forth by authoritarians (regardless of political party) are mumped. The gravy train that is the anti-terror "security" industry is way too lucrative for politicians to pass up.

What about Target?
You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
