Russell lets the offense come to him.  He doen't force it too much and plays pretty good offense.  Defense is pretty bad, he might be o.k. if we ever played zone  .

I like this about him.  While his d is pretty bad it is infinitely better than last year's.

As bad as his defense is, Martin put him in late on defense Friday for Spradling. This after Doc got beat about three straight times by their point guard.

I hope so.  I just worry my being impressed is skewed by how awful he was at defense last year so now his sucking less almost looks like he's good.

Russell pisses me off.  He's good, but does so much stupid sh*t that he doesn't get to stay on the floor.  I wish he would stop pissing frank off so he could play more because I think he might be the best option at 2 (and maybe 1) other than Jake.

Is his defense as bad as Dr. Iceman?  WSU sucked, but their guards torched the good doctor at least twice.
