Counting this year, K-State has went to 14 bowls in its history. Three times we've play Syracuse. Odd (have a newspaper proof page on my office wall a friend sent from a North Carolina paper showing Bishop running through a Syracuse player in the 97 Fiesta Bowl. Headline reads: Bishop keys KU's victory)

Let's hope another snow storm keeps the 'Cuse faithful at home like in '97. Of course, that would mean about 7K fans on hand...

Can't believe that if Bill doesn't suffer his worst lost ever last year against Lafayette we would be going to our second consective bowl.

I hate t-shirts that commemorate games of any kind.

I might make an exception for a Nat'l Championship tee.

That makes more sense, it seemed like a weird thing to brag about.

I was at that game in 2001 and it sucked.  Best part was the kid who sold me beer telling me stories about working the previous world series two months earlier.
