was "in the house" for griffey's 600th HR
was also at the Cardinals-Mets playoff game where it became apparent that Rick Ankiel wasn't ever going to be a pitcher.

Wish I was there for that.  Lucky guy.

when ku lost to syracuse I was at bww with fatty watching the game and immediately high-fived/bear hugged siebrandt who was seemingly the only other ksu fan cheering against ku in the entire place.

Great feeling.

it seemed like there was so much ku love in manhattan during that tourney run.  drove me insane.

I was at that game, but it was Cards-Padres when Ankiel's pure tardarm made it's appearance.

I'll add this one: Pasco Fiasco -

In the Delta Tau house with my buddy watching.  After Frank Richards hit the layup I high fived about 15 random Fratties, then after we lost we all sat in stunned silence for about 2 minutes.  Driving home listening to the postgame was interesting, Wyatt didn't know how to sum up the game or what questions to ask Wooly.

Piggy back - a buddy of mine who was a Manager on BB team told me that Siebrandt threw chairs in the locker room post game. Dude was breathing fire.

awesome.  loved Siebrandt.  loved him.

It's funny because it was in a completely meaningless, worthless game.  I can't imagine of say Luis did that last year in the B12 tourney or in the NCAA's.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Why was it meaningless?

KSU > NU - 1998:  Somewhere on I-70 eastbound between Oakley and Salina ... hated missing that game live, but I did buy the VHS tape a few months later in Topeka.

I wouldn't say a conference tournament game is meaningless...
