I hate the annual Venables threads so very much.   :bang:

It's like the opposite of Christmas.

So, I hope he goes to Miami (and fails, badly, on their dime).

There's a reason Venzy has been passed over by as many schools as he has! His defenses have been average for the last 5ish seasons, and it's so obvious that Stoops is assisting calling their schemes!!! This is a blessing in disguise for KSU!!

Is Miami really a better job than Arizona, and/or would Mike be just looking for a chance to start over?

For that matter, what has Mike done in AZ that would make Miami want him?  Mike has been decent done there but nothing that would put him in the same convo as a Gruden.

Miami has much better facilities, but not sure that the pay would be different.

Pretty sure Miami's facilities are not good.  They built an 8 million dollar facility in 2001.   :jerk:  Hard to imagine that would be better than UA's.

I don't know whether they are considered top of the line or not. I don't think they've upgraded for a while though.

That was an $8 mil expansion. not entire facility.

Also worth noting the $8 million expansion was not to a football only facility, that facility is shared by many teams at The U and also houses their hall of fame.  Their basketball team has a pretty nice building, but I have no idea what the weight room, locker room, etc. look like at the formally called Convocation Center.  They have a nice rec center though, juice bar!!!

Also bear in mind that Sun Life Stadium is 30 minutes away.

I visited Miami in 2005, I expected to be like   came away  :blank:

Florida is a the best place to find skill players.  Plus, having that screwball at a national program like Miami would be very entertaining.
