Obviously this is not a prediction of future success, but his vid reminds me of Jake as a high schooler. Good range, not afraid to pull the trigger, doesn't have elite quickness either, but he has a real nice crossover and seems to have a real good feel around the rim. There are worse ways we could use our last scholly.

Really love his video, his jumper needs a bit of work but it shows flashes of being really good. I hope we offer him if we don't get a wing.

oscar apparently said that we're not pursuing any juco big men (I assume this goes for transfers as well), because he wants a young guy with multiple years of eligibility left to help replace Gip/Nino when they graduate. I assume if the right player was available that he would change his mind, but high school player is definitely his preference right now.

Well Carlino is a guard anyway and I would take him over any high school guy we can get right now.

It seems to me that guys that leave on their own terms do it as soon as the season gets done, while people who get Bruced seem to be after semester and finals are over.

I think Jack's foot is mumped. I think they want to medically clear (negatively) so it doesn't count against the scholarship count.
