I went to school there. An incredibly amazing place to go, but doesn't deserve Harbaugh and Luck. No students or Palo Altoers care about football (and for what it's worth the vaunted 6th Man is highly overrated fanbase for basketball) at Stanford. The weather is just too good. And the people there are actually for the most part incredibly smart unlike Duke so aren't spending a ton of time thinking about sports. The Stanford team is awesome right now, but will return to futility once Harbaugh leaves for Ann Arbor or the NFL. I unfortunately suffered through the Buddy Teevens years. For all the complaining done on this board, just know, nothing (Prince, OB recruiting, Coffman at QB) is as bad as that. They were so bad that on 3rd downs they used to have Trent Edwards punt to catch the opponent offguard and avoid having to defense returns. The ultimate
