I'd be ok with it.  Is he really on his way out over there?

Meh.  That guy had 4* and 5* players at towel boy and only went 7-5 this year.

Play long enough with 4* and 5* and you will break through.

Shannon doesn't recruit thugs. He graduates players. His program is clean.

Seems too obsessed with doing things "the right way." That'll mean he drifts between 3 and 6 wins every year here.

They didn't seem to think so @ Miami.  And do you really think he's going to be able to bring that into Manhattan?

Dude is an incredible recruiter and a very good defensive mind.  We probably won't end up with anyone near his caliber.  We would do we'll to hire him.  Not sure why but Miami is a tough place to win.  They always recruit well but only a few coaches have had real success there.  He would be a big step up from Leavitt and most of the other en vouge coaching choices on this board have never been HCs...  I'd hire the crap out of Shannon.

No.

I'm not stupid.  And I know he wouldn't ever take the job here nor would KSU ever go after him.  So, my thread is quite dumb, no?  Hence contradicting my first sentence.

blew your mind.

Their facilities are :barf: :horrorsurprise: they cannot win there without being mad dirty.  People have to remember that they are a small private school and they have a comparatively large percentage of their big money alumni who resent that program and what it represents to their "fine university."  Back in the day they made a bunch of money from non-alumns.  I know of a few people who were donors when they were good, now no one gives a crap.  Really they should be seen in the same light as BC, Baylor, Vandy, and Wake; but with much shittier facilities.

If you decide to post regularly on the basketball board I'm going to make it a personal goal to either make you more insightful or just quit.  Don't want to take the easy way though.
