I'm in for the Fire Cosh sign.

Not in on the Bill sign.  I would be though if... A. he doesn't fire Cosh, or B. We have a decent target HC that's actually interested in coming here.

This makes no sense.  What deadline are you setting for him to fire Cosh?

the reason it doesnt make sense is because no one will know if we have a "decent target" HC until after snyder is fired....

At this point if cosh is the DC next season, I won't be getting season tickets.

I've been trying to think of some content that would have serious impact on this athletic department & make them a bit more aggressive - all while not getting sued over copyright infringements and I've come up with a line:

"I'd rather spend $2500 on a bill board than watch another Cosh Coached defense"

Feel free to trade out Cosh for Snyder depending on the message everyone decides their money should go towards.

Typically billboards shouldn't be too wordy and anything more than 10-12 words loses it's impact if you can't read it while driving 70 mph down the road...   perhaps if a location could be scouted by a stop light?  It think throwing up $$ signs along with an actual dollar amount would be enough to get everyone's attention.   Anyone have any other ideas?

We're not doing anything talking about firing Cosh.  Let GPC send a thousand e-mails to Currie about Cosh.  Whatever we do needs to solve the ultimate problem or we're going to be spending $15K/year on billboards talking about firing our symptom of the month.

If the billboard is at a decent location within Manhattan, it can be KSTATEO'd like crazy and any point we put on there will be made.

lol at people thinking Cosh is the problem.  It's like blaming Coffman for sucking at football.  The same person is responsible for putting both of them out there.

just really feel that banners/billboards about Obz would be a waste of time/money.  Pitting the entire athletic department against a coach that refuses to fire a shitty coordinator will get better results.

People that think otherwise probably smell bad and suck at chess.

this plan needs a timeline.  if no action by the bowl, billboard, should go up.  if no action by spring game, plane time.

It'd be harder to find one who won't.

I have yet to meet a pilot of a small aircraft in KS that wasn't a KSU fan.  Only a tiny portion of the fanbase would even think about demanding Snyder be fired.  And and even smaller percentage would be okay with a banner, let alone one behind his plane.  This board represents a small rebel group of fans, many of whom I suspect are stupid and poor.  Like I said, have fun finding a pilot who will fly that banner.  Not saying one doesn't exist but it will be difficult to find him/her.

Cosh won't be fired dumb ass.   Do you even remember the last time Bill "retired" and all the stories about Weiser pushing him out?   Jesus rough ridin' christ let me spell it out for you.  A rough ridin' sign/banner saying "Fire LHC Bill Snyder" is going to make us look like rough ridin' Peta throwing blood on fur coats.  It's not going to do a god damn thing but make us look like a bunch of ungratefull spoiled jackasses.  Bill won't be fired, Currie won't push him out, because WE are the MINORITY.
Flying a banner that reads Fire Bill will increase pressure on Currie to NOT fire him/push him out after the backlash that comes from something as small as a rough ridin' billboard that does not represent the majority.

If you fly a Fire Cosh sign, it will not piss off anyone, because EVERYONE believes it should be done.  Bill will have the options to either A:  Fire Cosh (not going to happen)  B: "Retire"  or C: Keep Cosh, Stay as long as he can, running the program into the ground, letting the grapes sour, pissing off the athletic administration because "Bill does things his own way ONLY" & slowly turning the shirt tucks against him.

Option C is the only way I see this administration forcing Snyder out.   If you fly a Fire Bill sign, Bill will stay as long as he wants and we will have tied the hands of the administration to do anything about it.  Because if they do force him out, they are agreeing with "The Minority"  I.E. US.

How many pilots of small aircraft do you fornicate with on a daily basis? I didn't realize Louise Thaden's (Amelia Earhart was just too easy) bff was emaw. I guarantee there's an angry pak head is Salina that will fly this cac free of charge.

I work and have previously worked with quite a few guys who went to KSU-Salina.  The majority of pilots are or were military, not exactly the kind of dudes that would fly an anti-Snyder banner.  The billboard idea is a better one.  Plus, you can include some goEMAW.com advertising on it.  But I doubt that SD, Trim, etc have the balls to do that.  Goodbye season tickets, hello BFFs with Dax!

Just got off phone with pilot buddy of mine who is dying to tow the banner, for $2000.

Basically what I'm saying is this board loves to hear themselves talk and feel cool by being contrarian but little actual action is ever taken.  Sure, they will track planes in/out of MHK, but no one here has the power to, say, bend Huggy's ear.  To even think this group of retards has the power to force OB's resignation is laughable, though I'm sure they'll take the credit when he does leave.  In short, the majority of you are Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) pussies.  Big ones.

The message needs to be directed at Snyder, point plankn.

Even the spring game seems too far away.  Let's just spend the money on a ton of paint and a keg and send some squawks to go paint our messages all over Vanier.

We could also do a billboard for 4 weeks in Manhattan for about the same price.

I'm intrigued.

I couldn't find the Manhattan market listing on Lamar (they must not have boards in Manhattan), but a 4 week billboard in Topeka is $2500.  There are obviously many cost drivers, and we could cut some corners with the quality of the graphic (just some bold font would suffice).

I know that about a year ago, the prices in KC were about half that, with the recession and all.  I know a couple media buyers, I'll check it out.

Call the Ann Barnhardt lady with the :opcat: Obama billboards just east of Junk Town

You know lots of people and have stories for literally everything that happens on this board, kinda weird for someone with social anxiety.

Don't have social anxiety, far from it.  I just don't dig hanging out with dudes from the internet.  I'm sure you guys probably date online and everything but I prefer the good, old fashioned real life friends.
