Love working the days around holidays.  No one here.  Pretty much a day off, only sitting at my desk.  Free to shop for Xmas stuff on line, bbs, and all other manner of interweb stuff.

I wholeheartedly endorse this strategy.

It's weird, in Michigan, Spring Break is like a national holiday.  All week long everyone is gone and you pretty much don't have to do anything.
