We will supposedly be getting new bball jerseys before the season's over.  This year we are going to be getting a black, white, and a dark grey.  Supposed to be pretty similar to the new ones.  But, we are allegedly going to be bringing back the claw marks. Somewhere on the back of the jersey.

I thought the claw marks were elite.  We get full school Nike sponsorhip (one of a handful in the nation) and they make us some custom unis.  Granted, they look kind of dumb now but I thought they were cool back then.  It would be nice to be the "Oregon" of NCAA BB for Nike.

I assume Nike's uniform decisions correlate with television appearances?  Product Placement?  The best teams are on TV the most and give Nike the most exposure.  At least that's my theory. 

That said, I wouldn't be surprised to see us in new unis by the KU game.  (why is that game slated for the Big XII network, btw?)  It is highly possible that both teams will be ranked in the top 5 by that time. 

And, I imagine we're gonna haul in some serious national TV appearances next season...

Yes, hence the "Quotes".  Just saying it would be nice to have some experimental uni's to play with as well.  Since Oregon isn't in the spotlight this year for BB it could happen.  Also, I would like to have something new.  We got the new "Nike Elites" a few years back and now every Nike BB program has them.  We have the same jerseys as Tex, UK, etc. just with different color and K-State across the front.

Idea - Maybe we could get some "Beasley" style unis, you know, like how UNC has the Jump Man cuz of MJ.  Just an idea....

i think it's because ESPN thought, at the time the tv schedule was made, that we didn't have much of a shot and will get blown out.

Didn't know...bummer...  Oh well, maybe we will have the "Michael Beasley School for College Basketball Players Who Can't Play Good And Want To Learn How To Do Other Things Good" on campus next to the new BB practice facility.

Also, Texass new unis look like ass.  If they are gonna put the graphix on the back then do it but dont get rid of our stripes. they are the crap. 

Wouldn't mind seeing some throwbacks with script font and old school willie on them.

i really like the idea of new unis every 2 years, getting them towards the end of one year so they're nice and fresh, then having them another year and a half then repeat
