I listened to the last 5 innings (falling in and out of sleep, I missed Gordon's assist). It was hilarious hearing Denny say multiple times "and THAT is another example why Seattle is 68-88." He also said their sacrifice bunt in the 9th was "one of the worst executed sacrifice bunts I've ever seen".

It was basically a one hop line drive to the pitcher

That's what I love about Denny and Lenny.  Both of their old asses just don't give a crap anymore.  They say whatever the think.  The other night Denny was bantering about all of the graphics that tell fans to "Get Loud" during games, basically saying that good fans don't need that crap.  Any idiot knows when they need to stand up a cheer at a ballgame.  His very oldmanish way of discussing this topic was quite amusing.

i think it's funny as crap about how the only thing he cares about is getting the goddamn game over with and going home.  but he should probably retire/have his ass fired.

Down to the last few breaths.

Otherwise the Kansas Royals postseason drought extends to 28 seasons, easily the longest postseason drought in MLB

the detroit radio team is really good.  the color guy says "the art of pitching" about 900 times per game, but they're still good.  the toronto team are hilarious homers, plus they have ridiculous canadian accents.

Chris Pérez just blew a save in the 9th & the White Sox are now leading 4-3. Houston scored to make it 2-2 between them & the Rangers in the 6th.

The Royals can't catch a break from the losers playing the other teams in WC contention.   :curse:

Cain muffs for the second night in a row. Should have been the third out. Two batters later it's 4-0 instead of 1-0 when Chen serves up a gift pitch. Getting pretty bleak, guys.
