So is Glass telling Dayton/Ned to put out shitty lineups so they don't accidentally make the playoffs?

Serious question: how would you change today's lineup?

By not putting all the shitty players in that you guys have been talking crap on the past 2 pages.

Oh you really should have read the next part. As much as I hate Getz, I hate Johnson even worse. Gordon's will not and should not be playing 3rd anytime soon and Carroll and Bonifacio may not be much but I'll take them over Getz and Johnson (if only it was a either/or... sigh).

Yeah, we should probably just keep running a lineup with players who bat like pitchers at the 7-8-9 spots instead of moving a gold glove left fielder to the position he was drafted to play. That makes sense.

followed by johnson dribbling a ball to 2nd to continue his 0-28 streak

The brad crew is still running with the idea of playing Gordon at third, huh?

Billy Butler was drafted as a third baseman.  Do you guys think maybe he could play third while Moose is out?

Gordon performed just as well at 3rd as Moose has. Butler has trouble playing 1st. I would rather play Butler at third than run a lineup with Getz, Johnson, and Dyson batting back-to-back-to-back, though.

i dont care either way, hell im not even a royals fan i just get the games every day ( ie location) and i dont care about the position that much but the bat matters. maxwell is much better than johnson/getz so you move some guys around to make that happen. who gives a eff if you have an error or two?

Some things are just sacred to most Royals fans. Losing, for example.

Butler, Gordon, and Perez know better than to give a pitcher who struggled through the first two innings a combined 5-pitch inning. gmafb

Agreed.  That was horrible.

Also, Tejada won't be back until Oct. 10th at earliest?

errors have never lost anyone the game, I promise you that.

My faith in KC scoring runs with Moose, Tejada, and Cain out are slim.

The pitcher is throwing a ton of balls and the hitters are swinging at the first thrown strike.  Swing happy today.

Getz takes a walk to set the table for Elliot Johnson. You just know good things are coming now.

Getz and Johnson should just stand in the box and take every pitch just like that and try to get a walk.  If not.. a strikeout is just as good as any other outcome they'd normally have and we can run the pitch count up a bit.

Bunting runners over is also accepted.
