Just think if we hadn't gone through that horrible stretch earlier in the year where we went like 5-24 or something so putrid like that.........

just think, out of those 24 loses in that stretch, if we won only 10 of those, where would the royals be sitting right now????

Yeah, I'm sure if most teams in the MLB had won 10 more games in their worst stretch they'd be in pretty good shape

Royals gonna Royals, though.  If there's one thing that never changes, it's the ever-present "if we only" theme.

i feel like there is no quick efficient way for anybody to look up a stat like that. just painstakingly looking through standings and schedules for the last 50 or whatever years for every team. woof

If I had all of the past results in baseball history in one big spreadsheet, I could come up with a formula to find that in less than 10 min. Putting that spreadsheet together would be hell, though.

Do most teams lose 24 out of 29 games in a stretch?????????? I think not.....only our beloved Royals can though!

Side note:  best royals season in like 20 years and they won't make the playoffs, cause everyone else won't start losing...........

PIPE, the Royals haven't won nearly enough games yet to start calling this their best season in 20 years. They had a better record on 8/9/03, after all. If they keep winning games, they will have no problem whatsoever making the playoffs. There is still a lot of baseball to be played.

1994 we would've made the playoffs.  :frown:

'lil CF3 took that strike pretty hard.  :frown:
