Royals with a 4-spot in the 8th and a four run lead in the 9th. Haven't seen that for awhile.  :)

Cain hit that homer and I think this is going to be a night where I call the hospital about an erection lasting more than 4 hours.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

Probably best to go to the hospital with that problem, rather than just call.  :dunno:

Guys, we're in the midst of a good old fashioned winning streak here.  Let's sweep the Astros and climb to within 10 games back before the All-Star break!

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Royals draft selection:

According to the kc star (b/c I know nothing about the baseball draft) the royals selected this nobody so they could spend more money on other picks later in the draft :dunno: seems kind of like a losery mentality.........so it fits the royals perfectly.

I don't really believe they drafted a guy to save money for later picks. I mean, why would you do that instead of just trading the pick to another team for more later picks? That's probably the dumbest Royals-related thing I've ever heard.

Yeah, the MLB draft is completely different than the NFL draft (or any other sports draft for that matter)

if there's any team in the league that shouldn't think they're smarter than all the other teams, it's the royals.  rough ridin' royals.

They're only 6.5 games out of first. Also, there's like 27 games left before the all star break.

yes. sadly, there is a thin ray of hope with the absolute sliver of offense we have shown the last two days. i will unfortunately start paying a little more attention and hope for a winning streak.
