Too soon to tell, IMO. At least Hos is hitting a little better.

As I've said before, this is a team adrift, with no leadership and no apparent sense of urgency. Ned should not last much longer.

I hated it tonight when Phys started talking about "taking heart" because the Royals have talent from top-to-bottom in the organization, and the FUTURE looks bright. That's the same line we've been fed for several years now.

When will the "future" be the "present?"  :shakesfist:

That line has been used for over a decade and there are still fans who buy it.

Tuned in to the game on the radio, and the announcer said that the Minnesota starting pitchers have the worst ERA either in the AL or the whole MLB, did not catch which one........glad to see that the Royals cured the Twins' pitching woes

Pretty solid game from the KCR's tonight. Good starting and relief pitching and timely hitting.

George may make a difference. Check this out:  players say things are more "positive" with George on board.

Who knew that I would rather have players like Dyson and now Lough at the plate with runners on than any of our other players?

Any chance we could win tonight and then sweep the Astros?

That would put us 4 games back from .500 with about 100 games left.

I think it would be a much greater chance that we will lose tonight and then get swept by the Astros........or maybe, that is what you meant to say?

Royals draft selection:

8. Kansas City Royals: SS Hunter Dozier, Stephen F. Austin

According to the kc star (b/c I know nothing about the baseball draft) the royals selected this nobody so they could spend more money on other picks later in the draft :dunno: seems kind of like a losery mentality.........so it fits the royals perfectly.
