Bo didn't really run a 4.12 at the combine like Schapp said he did, did he?

sure did, hand timed but still.
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

omg the Bo 30 for 30

I was OBSESSED with him when he was with the Royals.

My Dad and 7 year old CF3 snuck down in the 7th inning in some random game to about 10 rows behind home plate, and watched Bo break his bat over his leg.  Top 5 CF3 Royals moments in person.

Totally got a signed picture of him from when he did a CSA for McConnell AFB back in the day.

When Bo took an AB at the celeb softball game 29 year old CF3 screamed his head off.

I've go a oversized felt baseball poster thingy that says BO KNOWS. Was a giveaway at the K back in in the 80's and got passed down to me from my grandpa.

I remember watching Bo play when he was with the Royals. He had all the tools, and then some. He was remarkable.

But my fear that playing in the NFL at the same time would ruin his sports career turned out to be true. That said, I'm glad we got to see his great moments on the diamond.

MLB really pisses me off sometimes.  With the luxury tax (22 mil) the Dodger's payroll is over $230 mil.  No big whoop though cause their contract with Fox Sports will pay them $240 mil per year for the next 25 years.  Kinda hard for small market teams to compete with that.  Sure, maybe for a year like Oakland or Baltimore but not for any extended period.

oh-ho-hooooooo boy.

Any idea who the other prospects are?  I'll take Shields and Davis just fine, depending on the others.

I'm a glass half full dude 99% of the time but because the trade was with Tampa, I just hope we break even.  Tampa is pretty much the BITB when it comes to this crap.  It used to be my Twins but Tampa is great now and Sota is seriously slackin.

Anytime you deal with the rays, you are gonna get raped and Dayton Moore did. But hey he might have just got his extension. This kinda crap makes me want to throw up.  Lets trade away the guys that are about to help the big league team for 2 years of a pitcher, that while hes there the royals won't win a damn thing, meanwhile one of the guys you traded will become a star and the royals will still be trotting daytons boyfriend frenchy out there every game. eff this team

lots of lbbiq in this thread.  if you want to sit around for another few years while prospects like myers and odirizzi hopefully "pan out" while other players are getting older and more expensive (butler, gordon, escobar) then go ahead.  But not me, the royals needed to make a move, it's impossible to tell if its a good one, but I'm just glad they did something bold.

We wouldn't be waiting around for a few years.  Myers could play right field this season.  And Odirizzi will pitch in the majors this season before its all over.

Montgomery is the one we'd be waiting on.
