Yost & Rex need to go. Rehire Frank as the color guy and let him manage the team from the booth... or vice versa.

I'm starting to really like Psyioc on the radio.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Royals win 6-3.

First winning record in May since 1994.

Split or won last 5 series with Division opponents.

Now, if we just had another solid starter.......

That was a pretty brutal schedule this month.  June looks to be a pretty pud schedule.  I wouldn't be surprised to see KC go 5 or 6 games over .500 during the month.

5-17 at home, 16-11 on the road is an astonishing statistic

I see us finishing June at .500 maybe a bit above.  certainly should finish 5 or 6 over.  But, again, we're the Royals

June schedule has 18 games against teams with records at or below .500.

best/worst part of K-State day at the K:

Best: The fat guy in a cheap knock-off Freeman jersey (powercats on the sleeves), a floppy purple camo bucket hat, and a beer in hand constantly heckling players the whole game from behind home plate and being picked up perfectly by the field mics.

Worst:  Per usual, it's Rex.  I would say the most awkward moment was when he was trying to figure out how many different ways he could rhyme about Vin handing off to the pen to win.

It has been a year and Bubba Starling has still not played his first inning of professional baseball.

Meanwhile Bryce Harper and Mike Trout are in the majors.

Sad really...

So you're saying that the pretty good 18 year old draft pick we signed is worse than a guy who is allegedly the best baseball prospect ever?

How insightful.

Do you know how baseball works??? Its my understanding that you don't just call up a high school kid to the majors the next day... Harper was drafted in 2010 and is arguably one of the most hyped prospects ever. He made his debut a full season later. The Royals aren't exactly in a huge hurry to rush anyone up, they have the youngest roster in the league...
