There's definitely some signs of life out there. The new arms in the bullpen are better than expected (and I was expecting quite a bit), the aggression on the basepaths is paying off, Gordon is finally hitting, but unfortunately I think the starting rotation will kill this enthusiasm sooner rather than later.

Anybody else get to see some highlights from the futures game?

Up 5-0 after 5 today vs. the White Sox, 5-1 start looking like a possibility. I know the faceplant with a couple double digit game losing streaks is coming but will enjoy it for now

Francis pitched really well. Total this season now is 13 2/3 innings and 3 earned runs I believe.

Looks like he's finally coming back from his surgery which means that pickup could look really good. Only have him on a 1 year/ 2M contract but if he continues to look good hopefully they can lock him up for a few years.
