Listened to a baseball prospectus dude earlier, thinks we are in great shape as long as the pitchers develop quickly. This years rotation has no one better than a four and gives

Ya. I also like not being nervous about the outcome of any games. It's fun cheering for a team without caring whether they win or lose.

This. And any false hope of a winning record is quickly terminated with a 15 game losing streak at the beginning of the season.

Cubbies coming into town June 24-26. I will be there rocking my Rick Sutcliffe t-shirt, mercilessly heckling the Royals, drunk off my ass on Old Style with 15000 other Cubs fans.

I will be rooting for the Royals in the other 159 games though.

Was at the Future's Game at the K yesterday.

Mike Montgomery is a star. Hosmer looks like a Gold Glover at 1st. And Myers looked fairly smooth in RF considering he just moved from catcher. Looked much better than Teahen did a couple years back. Moose has a great arm at 3rd, should help make up for a lack of range. Duffy was pretty good too, dialed it up to 95 a few times and got Myers looking at strike 3 on a breaking pitch.

The Royals are actually going to be good.
