Depends if he gets hot between now and the ASG. If he doesn’t he probably gets sent down. He’s had a couple homers this week so if it took him a month to figure it out then I think that’s worth the payoff. I read he’s taken better AB’s the past couple games, too. It’s probably just homers getting excited about a coupl homers this week but maybe it’s not!

I doubt he gets sent down at this point unless things really spiral. He's on pace for about 20 HRs over a full season. Not bad for a rookie that probably got called up too early. Def needs to cut down on strike outs and get more other hits, but I think he has been fine so far. If he goes on another bad streak and starts throwing crap, never mind about the above. They can't break him.

Yes, I think it’s a good trade for the Royals but Freddy was a cool dude.

My fav non star player in a while. he looked like a dude that was always having a blast, but that he would also kill you if you messed with anyone on the team

Guys we did really well at the Trade Deadline. I am very happy with the pitchers we got from the Padres for Fermin and Yastremski is a huge get for us. Dude is a great defender and can get on base.

Don't look now but the Royals are starting to warm up at the right time. A big away series with the Red Sox at Fenway starts tonight! The Royals are 3.5 games back from the Wild Card. Pretty similar to the situation we were in last year. I now think this year with the buying at the deadline we might be able to make some noise. Tolbert being able to get on in two huge spots yesterday really helped the outlook of the team for me.

I'm really excited!

I've watched most of the post-ASG games and it's been super fun. Yesterday was maybe the most satisfying win of the year. My hope is Cags is healthy and we can really do damage at the plate when he is back in the lineup. I do not however like Salvy catching everyday. He needs IMO to catch 50% of games only to keep his legs for the stretch run.

Roy's only 3.5 games back in the ALWC race in early August is a welcome surprise. Not enough games left vs the Twins and White Sox for my liking and the AL East is probably going to snatch 2 of the 3 wildcard spots. At least we have a chance.

The Green monster give and the green monster taketh. Had a ball go high off the wall had it been 2 foot higher its a homer and the 'yals are right back in it last night. Ended up being a double. Nick Loftin i think also read the third base coach signal wrong. Had he not been thrown out at home, Vinnie is next up to bat on with the bases loaded. Who knows what happens. Today is a new day to beat the red sox...

It's going to be tough but very possible. Playing relevant ball in August (and hopefully September) is good. They could still be 3.5 out in September and got a shot. Hopefully by the end of the month it's only like a game or so.
