i can't believe they're still starting lugo today.  i assume it was at his request, but still curious.  theories i've seen are to have him at full rest for game 3 or just pitch a couple innings today as a bullpen substitute and have him for game 2.  hopefully someone explains what the plan is soon.

Yeah this is completely WTF.  I love the thought of Lugo/Regans going 1-2 in  best of three series.   I want Singer no where near any of those games (in spite of the fact that he pitched well last night).

marsh didn't have a crazy pitch count, so bringing in hernandez suggests the royals have a bit of a preference for winning this game.  or maybe they're gonna move marsh to the pen for the wc, dunno.

'14 and '15 playoffs were absolutely packed with drama. Couldn't take my eyes off of it.
